We offer one hour lessons on all instruments with the option of 30 minute lessons for Beginner level students. Lessons occur on a weekly basis. For more information on our approach to teaching, see How We Teach.

Rates & Policies

One hour lessons are available at a rate of $35 per lesson; 30 minute lessons are $20.

New students must schedule a minimum of four lessons for acceptance into our course of study. Learning to play music is difficult and it will take a few lessons to establish a basic level of comfort with the instrument. We want every student to learn to love music as much as we do, and building familiarity is the first step toward that end. The first month of lessons focus primarily on technique and all materials are provided by Caitlin & Peter. Following this introductory period, students are required to purchase various music books and supplies. We may advise the purchase of additional materials for extended personal study, however we only require the purchase of materials actually used in lessons.

We bill current students monthly, to be paid at the first lesson of each month. Invoices for upcoming lessons are sent out at the end of each month.

Families with multiple students are eligible for a $5 discount per lesson for each additional student.

Lesson cancellations must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the absence. Refunds are not available, but up to one lesson credit per student may be applied toward the following month. Lesson credit is not transferable across semester breaks.
